Beloved around the world and renowned for their “angelic voices,” the Vienna Boys Choir has a history spanning more than 525 years. Recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, it is the world’s most famous boys’ choir, celebrated for its remarkable tradition and artistry.
These young musical ambassadors from Vienna will return to Japan in 2026 for their upcoming tour!
2026 also marks a major milestone: 100 years since the choir embarked on its very first concert tour. While faithfully preserving their traditional vocal style through unique training methods, they have embraced music and culture from around the world, delighting audiences with diverse and fresh programs.
In Japan, they have been adored for more than 70 years since their first visit. Their annual nationwide tours draw enthusiastic praise such as: “I couldn’t stop crying,” “My heart feels renewed,” and “Next time I want to bring my family—this is a yearly must-see.”
